"I'm 19 years old. I am a Freshman at Minnesota State University Moorhead, and I'm majoring in Speech Language Pathology.
My platform is Reading is Fun. The purpose of my platform is to get children excited about reading because reading is essential in our world today.
I love children, which is part of the reason I chose my platform. I think children are amazing and full of life. I think that many times WE could learn a few things from THEM!
I also love all animals, especially dogs. I have a shih-tzu, Suki, and I have more pictures of her than anyone I know!
In my spare time I like to scrapbook, read (fun books, not textbooks for college!), and spend time with my family and friends. I love to sing and I am a memeber of the Women's choir on my campus. I also like to make people laugh... sometimes I make myself laugh too!
I have lived in Morris, Minnesota my entire life, and, although the weather has been miserable lately, I plan to live in Minnesota after I graduate college."
