Miss Mankato 2008 is Liz Wandersee

Liz is a Senior at the University of MN Twin Cities majoring in Family Social Science. Her career goal is to work as a memory care manager within an assisted living home or nursing home.

Recognizing the need for the younger generations to reach out to the elderly, she began working in and volunteering at nursing homes nearly five years ago. Liz is an advocacy member of the Alzheimer's Association and plans to advocate for community involvement and awareness through her platform in Mankato, and ultimately Minnesota.

received a prelim swimsuit award. The last Miss Mankato to be
crowned Miss Minnesota was in 1981.
2006 - Amber Kelley was a top 8 semi-finalist.

2004 - Heather Schnepf was named a non-finalist interview winner.
