Miss Frazee
Miss Frazee 2010 is Emily Kallis!
Emily is the 18 year old daughter of Scott and Kathryn Kallis. She has one sister, Courtney, who is entering her third year at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Emily is a 2010 graduate of Frazee High School, and she will be furthering her education at the University of St. Thomas where she will be double majoring in Communications and Journalism and Health Promotion.
Emily’s passion for dance started at the age of nine when she started taking classes from Center Stage Dance Academy in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, modern, and African dance styles.
Emily’s personal platform is entitled “Fit For Life: Making Healthy a Habit”, and she is very excited to encourage Minnesotans to adopt healthier lifestyles as well as to promote the Miss America Organization and the Children’s Miracle Network throughout her year as Miss Frazee 2010. For more on Emily's platform, visit her blog at makinghealthyahabit.blogspot.com.
Emily credits God for every opportunity that she has been blessed with thus far, and believes that without the love and support of her amazing family and her strong faith in the Lord, she would not be the woman that she is today!
