PAGEANT HISTORY
The Miss Coon Rapids Scholarship Program is proud to be home to three Miss
Minnesotas since our inauguration in 1965: Susan Erickson, Miss Minnesota 1978, Julie Richardson, Miss Minnesota 1991, and Megan Torgerson, Miss Minnesota 2003
The Miss Coon Rapids Pageant began as a community service project of the Coon
Rapids Jaycees, it has always been a part of the Coon Rapids Snowflake Days
celebration.
The Miss Coon Rapids Scholarship Pageant was incorporated in 1986. We have
always had a strong program thanks to our dedicated volunteers, many who have
been with our program for over 20 years! We have many new volunteers with our
program this year who are very excited to produce the best Miss Coon Rapids
Scholarship program ever!!
